Driving Out Cancer
NOVUS was proud to outfit the 4th Annual Drive Out Cancer Golf Tournament, presented by Performance Industrial. This 10-week fundraising tour, held at various golf courses throughout the Capital region, raises crucial funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society.
Joseph Girard III Goes Pro in Lithuania
We’re thrilled to share that NOVUS athlete and Glens Falls native, Joseph Girard III, has signed with Nevezis in Lithuania’s top basketball league. After an impressive five-year NCAA career at Clemson and Syracuse University, Girard is ready to embark on his professional journey. We were honored to host JG3 at our HQ before his overseas departure.
George Odum’s Standout NFL Preseason Performance
NOVUS athlete George Odum made waves during the NFL preseason, showcasing his skills with the San Francisco 49ers. A former undrafted rookie who earned his spot with the Indianapolis Colts through determination and standout plays, Odum is now excelling in his third season with the 49ers. Lining up with the first-team defense, Odum has snagged four interceptions in practice, including several against starting quarterback Brock Purdy. His leadership on the field is evident, as teammates look to him for guidance and respect his knowledge of the game. Odum’s passion and focus are at an all-time high, reflecting his growth from a special teams star to a serious contender for a starting role at safety.
Custom Jerseys in Honor of Kobe Bryant Day
In tribute to the legendary Kobe Bryant, NOVUS designed special jerseys for the ValleyCats baseball team to honor Kobe Bryant Day. These Black Mamba jerseys prominently feature Kobe’s iconic number 24 and include powerful imagery of Kobe alongside the Boys & Girls Club. Building on Kobe’s legacy of inspiring and giving back to the community, the jerseys were auctioned off after the game, and all proceeds from the auction were donated to the Boys & Girls Club of the Capital Region.
Baseball Miracles’ Special Skills Camp
We’re proud to have supported and outfitted Baseball Miracles' special skills camp at Doubleday Field for the fourth year, where nearly 80 incredible ballplayers from Pathfinder Village, a community for individuals with Down syndrome, came out to claim their crown on the ball field. Teaming up with MLB legends like Clint Hurdle, this event was a celebration of inclusion, passion, and the pure joy of the game.

Team Member Spotlight: Zach Sicard
Where are you from? Born in Seoul but grew up in Guilderland and Rotterdam, NY.
What do you day at NOVUS? Graphic design, marketing, and internal branding.
What do you love about what you do? I love problem solving and coming up with new ways to reach our target audience. Marketing is such a broad spectrum and there’s so many ways to accomplish the same goal, but the strategy and journey to reach that goal is what I love the most. Also, being able to merge my love of art and design with my love for sports has been a dream come true.
How do you Claim Your Crown? I claim my crown by being the best I can be, day in and day out, in everything I do. Whether that’s graphic design, art, coaching, or in my personal life, I always strive to be the best version of myself.
Why NOVUS? The mission to inspire others and to give back to the community is what I love about NOVUS. It’s more than just clothing. It’s telling people’s stories, uplifting the community, and spreading positivity on a daily basis.
