January 2025 NOVUS Newsletter

As the new year unfolds, NOVUS is hitting the ground running. January has been packed with incredible opportunities to connect, collaborate, and inspire—from our presence at SEEK 25 in Salt Lake City and ABCA in Washington, D.C., to hosting athletic leaders at our headquarters. This month also marks our continued commitment to service through the 1:12 Project in the Dominican Republic, as well as celebrating the partnerships and people who make NOVUS what it is today. Here’s a look at the highlights from an inspiring start to 2025!

SEEK 25 in Salt Lake City

NOVUS hit the ground running in 2025 at FOCUS Catholic's SEEK 25 Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was an incredible opportunity to connect with some of our NOVUS athletes, share our mission, and inspire purpose-driven attendees. Our booth buzzed with energy, and we were thrilled to see our James 1:12 gear resonate with so many.

ABCA in Washington D.C.

The NOVUS team hit a home run at the World’s Largest Baseball Convention in Washington, D.C. This event brought together over 8,000 baseball coaches from around the world for four action-packed days of networking, learning, and excitement. Our booth was a hub of activity as we connected with coaches, showcased our premium gear, and shared how NOVUS is redefining team apparel for purpose-driven athletes.

NOVUS Hosts AD Breakfast Meeting

NOVUS proudly hosted the Suburban Council Athletic Directors meeting at our headquarters, bringing together local athletic leaders for a morning of collaboration. Having the ADs visit our HQ allowed us to share a closer look at our mission and provide a firsthand experience of the quality and dedication behind everything we do. We’re honored to support these teams and the leaders who help athletes rise to their full potential!

The Second Annual 1:12 Project

NOVUS embarked on our second mission trip to the Dominican Republic through the 1:12 Project, spending four transformative days in the remote village of Banica. Partnering with Encounter Travel, we hosted baseball camps for athletes ages 8 to 20. “This trip was the manifestation of everything we’ve built our brand on—passion, conviction, and perseverance," said Garrett Bernardo, co-founder of NOVUS. Experiences like this remind us of the power of faith, service, and sports to bring people together, and we’re eager to continue spreading light and love through the 1:12 Project.
