Albany FireWolves Season
What a bounce back season for the Albany FireWolves! We loved having a shotgun seat for the ride to the National Lacrosse League finals as the official outfitter of players and staff. You may have noticed the NOVUS lounger splashed all over NLL social media this season or the team rocking our Pro Vented T-shirts during warmups or the coaches in our Aura Polos and Aura Quarter-zips during interviews.
On top of reaching the NLL Finals, the FireWolves’ Glenn Clark took home Coach of the Year and General Manager of the Year while Alex Simmons won Rookie of the Year. Talk about Claiming Your Crown! We’re proud to say the NOVUS brand is built to fit winners of these professional athletes’ caliber.
VLA Cup in Wisconsin
The best of the best from the volleyball world competed for the VLA Cup in Madison, Wisconsin in May and we were there to see it. Our partnership with the Volleyball League of America continues to grow as the sport sweeps the nation. Not only does NOVUS outfit some of the top teams in the VLA, we also offered players and fans gear in our exclusive VLA Cup collection over the weekend of matches.
From the 40+ teams in the tournament, River City Flow took home the title! The 2024 season wraps up June 8-9 at VLA Championships in Hamilton, Ohio. You can watch all the action on the Volleyball League of American YouTube channel.
The CAT is Back
Our annual fundraising volleyball tournament is back! If you’ve played in the CAT before or come out to support a team or the cause, you know this is a can’t-miss event every year. We raised $30,000 last year for the American Cancer Society, but we’re stepping up our game again this summer. The CAT keeps getting bigger and we hope our fundraising impact will match that growth. We’ve set a goal of $40,000 to benefit three different non-profits: the American Cancer Society, Double H Ranch and the 1:12 Project. See you on Thursday, July 11 at 4:30pm!
Customer Spotlight: Maine Firecrackers & XL Thunder
Maine Firecrackers is an AAU basketball program with a tradition of winning since it was started in 2007. With state and national championships, it is widely regarded as the most successful girls program in Maine. NOVUS outfitted the Firecrackers for the recent GymRat showcase at the Impact Athletic Center in Halfmoon, NY.

How do you Claim Your Crown? I claim my crown each day by channeling my passion into everything I do, both in design and in life. Starting with a sense of purpose, driven by the excitement of new opportunities and the joy of creative expression.
