Content Creator

We are looking for a talented Content Creator to support our marketing department’s social media efforts. You will be responsible for strategizing, capturing and editing video content and photography for our various social media platforms. You should have strong communication skills, basic copywriting skills, enthusiasm for capturing content in real time, and a keen eye for what content will hit on our various social channels. You will have the opportunity to highlight the exciting things happening at HQ as well as what we’re doing out in the field. You will report to the Content Marketing Manager who will guide you on the social media content, campaigns, events, and exciting partnerships!

Job Duties:

  • Research social media accounts for content inspiration, stay on top of timely content and social media trends—creatively think outside the box to engage our target audience while remaining true to our brand.

  • Provide support with the creation of social media content for Instagram & Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and other platforms.

  • Well-versed in capturing and editing content for social media—including photography, video creation, and editing for social media platforms. 

  • A strong knack for creative storytelling through visuals.

  • Understanding of how to create and edit photo and video content that resonates with our audience and reinforces the brand POV.

  • Pitch entertaining, relatable, and educational content ideas for social media channels. 

  • Work closely with Content Marketing Manager to execute social media campaigns, photo and video shoots.

  • Support growth efforts when needed—this could mean creating content that could also live on our website, capturing content in-real-time at the office or at a game, or working with our design team to create social media graphics.

Requirements:

  • Some experience with content management.

  • Ability to capture content and edit content for each specific platform.

  • Well-versed on social media platforms—including TikTok and Reels.

  • Basic copywriting skills.

  • Proficient in Google Suite. 

  • Detail-oriented—triple-checks captions and visuals before posting. 

  • Knowledge of video and photo editing software is a plus!

Social Media Intern

The Social Media Intern will play a key role in supporting our marketing department’s social media efforts. You will be responsible for assisting with capturing and creating content, writing captions and creating graphics. You should have strong communication skills, basic copywriting skills, enthusiasm for capturing content in real time, and a keen eye for what content will hit on our various social channels. You will report to the Content Marketing Manager who will guide you on the social media content, campaigns, events, and exciting partnerships! 

Job Duties:

  • Research social media accounts for content inspiration, stay on top of timely content and social media trends—creatively think outside the box to engage our target audience while remaining true to our brand.

  • Provide support with ideating, sourcing, creating and scheduling social media content for Instagram & Reels, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. 

  • Well-versed in capturing and editing content for social media—including photography, video creation, graphics and editing for social media platforms. 

  • Understanding of how to write social media captions that resonate with our audience and reinforce the brand POV.

  • Pitch entertaining, relatable, and educational content ideas for social media channels. 

  • Engage in active social listening and community management on our social accounts including commenting on relevant content, answering DM’s and responding to comments and questions.

  • Work closely with Content Marketing Manager to execute social media campaigns.

Graphic Designer

NOVUS is seeking a Graphic Design Intern to support our design team. You will work hand-in-hand with the design team on a variety of projects including product mock-ups, marketing material, and content. You will be primarily responsible for making our customers look great through innovative, eye-catching, and functional designs. You will learn the NOVUS design process from start to finish and report to our Lead Graphic Designer.

Job Duties:

  • Design sports apparel, team uniforms, casual, and corporate apparel for accounts.

  • Learn our design process from start to finish—from initial logo creation or vectorization to creating a cohesive, clean apparel style guide to showcase your designs, and share with NOVUS customers and our manufacturers.

  • Learn the Printavo platform to prioritize and fulfill tasks, complete and send mock-ups for accounts, and upload style guides ideally within 2-3 days of the customer’s inquiry.

  • Help with account logo cleanup and creation when needed.

  • Organize all mock-ups into folders by account in our company’s shared Google Drive.

  • Communicate with the design team and account managers to complete account mock-ups and artwork.

  • Communicate with account managers and our lead designer to understand the proper embellishments that NOVUS can offer based on product design.

  • Conduct market research on the latest trends in product and design.

  • Help with the creation of digital and physical ads, one-sheets, and documents for customers.

  • Assist with packaging design to elevate the customer experience, including stickers, wristbands, poly bags, and sack bags when needed.

  • Attend marketing meetings with ideas to improve the overall customer experience.

Requirements:

  • Creative and visionary thinker.

  • Self-starter and team player with excellent communication skills.

  • Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Understanding of Google Suite and Microsoft Suite.

  • Detail-oriented—triple-checks design work before it’s completed.

  • An athletic background and a love for sports are a huge plus!

Account Manager

NOVUS is looking for a business-savvy Account Management Intern to support the account management team. This opportunity will learn multiple aspects of the business from sales, prospecting, and lead generation to working closely with the product by assisting and processing orders. This role will become well-versed in the product lifecycle by servicing our account base from initial inquiry to delivery of the order. This position will work closely with the Account Managers at NOVUS, as well as the Director of Sales, the Director of Operations, and the Design Team.

Job Duties:

  • Assist in handling and servicing NOVUS’ account base from initial inquiry to delivery of orders.  

  • Serve as a point of contact between customer and Novus.  

  • Will be given leads and accounts to reach out to, to develop and cultivate relationships.  

  • Work with the design team to deliver customer mockups through Printavo software.

  • Use Printavo software to enter customer invoices and manage their orders and payments.  

  • Utilize our website software (Squarespace) to build team stores for customers and sort customer orders upon closing of stores.  

  • Create PO’s, product labels and use our project management software to enter orders into production with manufacturers.

  • Assist operations team in sorting and packing customer products when they arrive at HQ, when needed.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional time management skills.

  • Strong communication and people skills.

  • Understanding of Google Suite and Microsoft Excel.
