Super Bowl Champ Harrison Butker Gives Back to the Children of Kansas City

As the Honorary Chairman of the Dream Factory of Kansas City, Harrison Butker recently attended his second Boulevard of Dreams Fundraiser to raise money and awareness for children struggling with critical or chronic illnesses.

“I have been the honorary chair for Dream Factory for the past couple of years,” said Harrison Butker. “It has been great to work with Dream Factory because at their core, they highlight the value of every person, even those whose lives are filled with challenges.”

Since 1985, the Dream Factory of Greater Kansas City has been dedicated to making dreams come true for children. As a 100 percent volunteer organization, granting dreams is their mission and smiling children is their vision.

“One thing I’ve realized, being a professional football player and professional athlete, is how just a little bit of my time can go a long way and bring a lot of happiness to all these people,” said Butker. “So, whether it’s just a little bit of your time or a little bit of your money can go a long way and provide a huge impact to children.”

The 2023 Boulevard of Dreams Fundraiser brought the Kansas City community together for a great cause. NOVUS Clothing Company worked closely with NOVUS athlete and co-owner, Harrison Butker to create a special clothing line to be featured in the fashion show. From baseball jerseys, to performance tees and paneled hoodies, each item was carefully designed for KC fans.

“This year was special to see the close collaboration that NOVUS had with Dream Factory,” said Butker. “The fashion show was a hit and having my friend and teammate James Winchester on stage, modeling the clothes with some of the kids was awesome.”

The Dream Factory empowers young people by granting dreams to young people that are facing some of the most challenging trials. For children and their families who live each day not knowing what the future may bring, a dream granted brings them a glimpse of hope, a lifetime of memories and an opportunity to claim their crown.

“The more we can give back and help—the world is going to be a better place, so I applaud the Dream Factory for everything they’re doing.” said Butker.

Similar to the Dream Factory, Harrison Butker and NOVUS Clothing Company have deep roots in perseverance, giving back to the community and dreaming big and they couldn’t be happier to be involved with this incredible organization.
